Our leading scientists employed nano(1 millionth of a millimeter) technology to measure the surface grip of the Webb Ellis Match Ball. The results were provided to the Computational Fluid Dynamics technicians at the University of Aston. Further analysis through 3D modeling was carried out to determine the optimum shape and placement of the pimples for least drag and maximum distance.
